Y念珠博士毕业于台湾台南全国成功大学。He received his graduate education from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Pittsburgh (M.S., 1995, Ph.D. 1999) and the master degree of business administration from Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh (MBA, 1999). He is a member of American Water Works Association (AWWA) and American Society for Microbiology (ASM）。

林博士是现在国内高雄师范大学环境教育研究所教授。他的专业专业知识是在医院和住宅水分配系统的新兴水性病原体的消毒区，包括军团菌和途中的分枝杆菌。他有许多关于军团菌消毒方式的文章。他参与了设计新的消毒系统。除了他的研究努力之外，他还向公司提供了工程和商业咨询，用于评估，选择，安装和设计制度分配系统的消毒系统。
